Here I am kissing Cadence goodbye on my way to work. Or wait, it looks like he's falling into me! What's happening!?
A big thank-you to our friends in Owen Sound, Rick(ardo), Pauline, Conor, & Neala--for sending Cadence these great shades. Clearly they've raised some kids in the north & know how bright & blinding all this snow can be!
Being happy with Daddy:
We stopped at the North Bay Mall on the way south, to give Cadence some time out of his car seat. Lo and behold, he's big enough to ride in the shopping cart! Life just got 100 times easier.
He also is now big enough to ride in the mall-provided baby pusher thing. We chose the little red car over the boring blue stroller type. Cadence played the part well (and I do admit that this next bit is a little indulgent):
"now where are the headlights?"
"ok, anyone behind me?"
"whoa! hey buddy, watch where you're going!!"
"better check my blind spot this time..."

Haven't been online for a while and just got to see all the fun pics! Nice nice nice. Cadence looks like a happy little boy. Looking forward to seeing him soon. And the snowshoeing looks awesome. I'm so jealous! Much, much love. We're off for the next 10 days travelling around Ghana so won't be online. Take care.

Glad Cadence got shades! Great for his eyes and also great conversation starter. The photos in the car aren't self-indulgent, I love them! The commentary is perfect.
