While in the city we also stopped by at MEC to pick up an infant bicycle helmet, to go with Cadence's trailer. It was hilarious and although we have yet to actually try it on the road, practice use in the house tells us he might not mind it so much!
Reading a book to himself.
With Auntie Lee at breakfast. Cadence was showing off (Ok, we were showing off) that he can point to: his tummy, head, ear, feet (which he indicates by clapping them), and hands. Our guests were very impressed. We then handed him a banana to snack on.
Uncle Steve and Aunt Lee (and doggy cousin Lenny) came to visit one morning, and brought Cadence some early 1st birthday gifts! Poor Lenny looks a little dejected in the background...
